Community Services

Community Services defined as service within the community. As the recently chairperson for community services I have seen so much in the community that needs our help. Where do we start well after careful consideration we the committee have decided to take it the members.

First off, would like to start off by announcing the new co-chair Randy Wilcox. Randy has worked with the community services committee and will a very valuable asset to continue as co-chair. Those of you that know her and have seen her will agree. Thank you Randy for all you do and will continue to do.

To those of you that made it to the Halloween Party last year and all who bought cinnamon rolls and made donations, thank you so very much. The Halloween party was a lot of fun and we will continue with it again this year. With all the donations we were able to help 3 great causes, Toys 4 Tots, the AFL-CIO labor food bank and the Utah state food bank. Now that's what I call giving into the community. And thank you again for your generosity in this time of need.

As the community services continue to grow, gain more members, and have more structure we will continue to do more great things, including but not limited to taking it to the members. By next membership meeting in May we have a survey for the membership to pick things in the community that they would like to see the committee and themselves to be apart of.

Lastly, I ask that you continue with your donations to the Elizabeth Glazier Pediatric Aids a foundation. And if your not donating already to this wonderful cause see your representative on how to donate.

Thank You,

Candie
