I want to take the time to introduce myself. I’ve been working for Qwest Communications since 2006. I previously used to live in southern California and worked for AT&T. I have been a CWA member since 1999 when I was hired by Pacific Bell, now AT&T. I currently work on the Draper crew located at the Murray garage. I have been married for 5 years and have 2 daughters.
I also want to take the time to thank all the members that voted for me. This position has been challenging but rewarding. I will do everything that I can to represent you and fight for you. I plan on visiting the garages to introduce myself personally. I would appreciate your feedback/concerns regarding any issues you may have concerning the company or union. A concern that I currently have is union attendance at the membership meetings being low. Remember, YOU are the union. The union is only as strong as you want it to be.
